About the Friends of the Library:

The Friends of the Hepburn Library of Madrid was created in 2015. The Purpose of the Friends of the Library is to increase use of the facilities and services of the Hepburn Library of Madrid in order to enrich the lives of those in the local community. The activities of the Friends include sponsorship of special activities and projects, informing the public of resources and services of the Library, securing materials beyond the ordinary library budget, and performing other services deemed helpful to the library.

Friends of the Madrid Library are always seeking new members to join our group and/or to donate to the Friends of the Hepburn Library of Madrid.

It's FREE to join our Friends of the Library. .

The only requirement is a desire to assist the library and to volunteer within a group setting.

Monthly meetings are open to the public and are generally held on the second Friday of every month at 10:30am. More details of upcoming Friends Group activities can be found on our calendar.

Madrid Library staff and the Friends' Group sponsor an ongoing book sale in the community room anytime the library is open.

Feel free to come in and browser the many selections - Fiction; non-fiction - cookbooks, crafts, biographies, travel, religion; children; young adult; CDs and DVDs.

The Madrid Library is no longer excepting VHS, textbooks, dictionaries and encyclopedias, magazines or items in poor condition.
