Library Board looking for new members

Madrid Library Board lost a few of their members  at the end of December 2014. They are looking for people interested in being on the board of the library. The next board meeting is on June 11th.

Anyone living in Madrid can be on the library board. Further information about what a trustee does can be found on the NCLS website.

Introduction to computer classes

Madrid Hepburn Library presents a 3 class series Introduction to Computers in conjunction with Digital Literacy in New York. There is no charge for this series. Brochure

Saturday December 20th at 1:00pm

These beginning classes are designed to be hands on, and will explore what a computer is, what you can use a computer for, how to launch applications and store information, exercise mouse or pointer device skills, further understanding of the desktop and the system keys on the keyboard.
